Customer Feedback

We love feedback, here are some reviews from our lovely guests:

Jee wizz and wow! What an experience to stay on a real working farm! The height of the building is something we won’t forget. The dog with the beard was our favourite. We will recommend this lovely spot to all our family and friends. Thank you for having us!

“Kate’s place is fantastic - clean, spacious, with lots of character and luxurious touches. Highly recommend if you are exploring the North York Moors. The bed and couch are super comfortable, especially after a long walk in the beautiful area! We have returned multiple times and would love to again. Kate, thank you so much for another wonderful stay. You put so much care into your place and it’s always a treat to visit!”

Jared

“Our stay at the tack room was delightful from arrival to departure. My partner and I took along our two dogs and my horse. There were lots of little extra thought out bits like tea bags, fresh eggs, milk, bread, literally all the little essential for the weekend. The tack room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the dressing gowns made you feel very at home. The stable facilities were great, honey was well looked after whilst we had slower mornings and Kate went out of her way to make her feel at home. The hacking around the area was idyllic, with Kate’s help we were able to plan a route which was great for both the horse and anyone on foot with dogs. The route also incorporated a pub stop which was fab! We loved it and will definitely be returning in the future and recommending Kate’s place to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

Sophie & Honey

“Wonderful cosy little place to stay for a few days. The space is beautifully done, bed extremely comfy, lack of TV a welcome break from screens. Lots of beautiful walks from the doorstep, a great pub mile and a half walk away and quality butcher in the next village. Thanks for a lovely stay, we both really enjoyed it and had a wonderfully relaxing couple of days! The prosecco, eggs bread etc were really touches and much appreciated :)”

Will

“Really enjoyed our stay at the Tack Room. Loved the cosy setting, good heating and comfy bed. The fresh eggs and horses coming and going were a real treat. Lovely country walks on the doorstep and a cosy pub near by. Recommend place to book for anyone wanting a little break from the hustle and bustle.”

Callum

Lovely stay in the super cosy tack room! I don’t think either of us have ever slept that well! This stay was exactly what we needed. Perfect base to explore the surrounding area and having a nice quiet place to come back to. Thanks for the walk recommendations too
